About Paul Hogan

General Manager Assistance Northern Europe, International SOS

Paul Hogan is the General Manager, Assistance, for International SOS, the world’s leading medical & security services company. Paul joined International SOS in 2011, and is responsible for ensuring the overall quality of service delivered by our Assistance business. This includes leading the crisis management team, meeting client needs and overseeing the quality assurance agenda. Prior to joining International SOS, Paul worked at CPA Global, a leading service provider to the Intellectual Property legal industry. Here Paul held a general management role, with responsibility for the performance of numerous products and global delivery teams. Paul started his career at British Airways as a member of its general management graduate programme. Following his time with BA, Paul spent a number of years with GE Capital working in leadership roles before joining the internal management consultancy organisation within the Barclays Bank Group. In his spare time Paul enjoys an active lifestyle, participating in high-adrenaline events and adventures. Most notably, he won the Fujitsu Pole Challenge 2004, by being the first to reach the North Pole. Paul is married with two children.

Late this month, the UK kicks off the largest peacetime security operation in the country’s history to ensure an incident-free Summer Olympics, which runs from July 27 through Aug. 12. It’s followed later this summer by the Paralympics, from Aug. 29 to Sept. 9.
