About Nick Peters
President and CEO, Americas Region, International SOS
Nick Peters is President and Chief Executive Officer for International SOS, Americas. In this role Mr. Peters leads the overall business direction and in market execution for these core regions and has overall P&L responsibility for all product lines and services. Mr. Peters is also a member of the company’s Group Management Executive Committee and is a board member of Travel Security Services Limited, a joint venture between International SOS and Control Risks.
Mr. Peters joined International SOS in April 2003. He joined as Group Director, Sales and Marketing in the global head office in London working direct for the Group Chairman and CEO. In this role, Mr. Peters was responsible for the leadership of the global distribution and business development of the International SOS Group. In October 2005 he assumed the role of Chief Executive Officer of the Americas Region with direct responsibility for the Groups activities in the United States, Canada and South America.
Prior to joining International SOS, Mr. Peters spent 2 years as a management consultant. In this role, Mr. Peters worked in a wide range of industries including private equity; retail; consumer goods; insurance, pensions and financial services.
From 1985 to 2001 Mr. Peters was with Procter & Gamble. Mr. Peters worked in most of the key product categories at Procter & Gamble and had extensive international and P&L management experience. His career at Procter and Gamble culminated in his role as a General Manager in one of the core global product categories.
Mr. Peters holds a Master of Arts degree with Honors in English from the University of Aberdeen, Aberdeen, United Kingdom.
