About Marcus McRitchie

Region Sales Director – Corporate Segment, Australasia International SOS

Marcus is based in Sydney, Australia and leads a team responsible for advising Australian Corporates on best practices to keep their travelers and expatriates safe, healthy and on task to ensure they complete their business objectives and maximize revenue for their company. Since taking up this role in 2009 Marcus has worked with clients across industries as diverse as finance, banking, education, professional services and manufacturing.

Prior to this role Marcus was the Regional Security Director (Asia Pacific) for International SOS based in Singapore. In this role he assisted companies to manage travel security risks and plan for and respond to crisis situations such as terrorist attacks, civil unrest, political instability and sectarian violence.

Before working for International SOS Marcus held executive appointments in government relations and marketing at the Powerhouse Museum in Sydney and the Australia Council for the Arts. Prior to this he served for many years as a Special Operations and Intelligence officer in the Australian Defence Force and Australian Customs Service respectively.

He has undergraduate and postgraduate qualifications in the arts and business management.
